Why does AI text paste so badly?

Chat interfaces and terminals hard-wrap text at a fixed width and carry styling in the clipboard. Email clients and editors keep those line breaks and backgrounds, so drafts arrive chopped up and highlighted. Repaste measures the wrap width, rejoins the lines that were forced apart, and keeps the structure that is real: paragraphs, lists, bold.
